Who we are

OnScreen is operated by Emmanuel Rehbani, an individual based in Argentina. For anything about these documents, write to support@onscreen.cc.

Your license

When you buy OnScreen you get a personal license, paid once, to install and use the app on the computers you use. It does not expire.

You can use OnScreen for personal and commercial work. Each license is for one person: please do not share your license key or resell it.

OnScreen is licensed, not sold. You may not copy, modify, decompile or redistribute the app, except where the law allows it.

Payment

Purchases are processed by Creem, which acts as the merchant of record and reseller of OnScreen. Creem charges you, issues your receipt and handles sales taxes where they apply. Its own terms also apply to the payment.

Prices are shown in US dollars. Taxes may be added at checkout depending on your country.

Refunds

All sales are final, because you receive your license key right away.

If OnScreen does not work on a supported system (Windows 10 or 11, or macOS) and we cannot fix the problem, write to support@onscreen.cc and we will refund you.

Nothing here limits the rights you have under the consumer protection laws of your country.

Updates and support

We may release updates to fix problems and improve the app. We answer support requests at support@onscreen.cc, usually within 3 business days.

Your recordings

Everything you record and create with OnScreen belongs to you and stays on your computer.

You are responsible for what you record and share. Make sure you have the rights and, where the law requires it, the consent of other people to record their image, voice or content.

Third-party components

OnScreen uses open-source software under its own licenses. Captions use the Whisper model by OpenAI (MIT license), which you download from Hugging Face.

Warranty and liability

OnScreen is provided as it is. We work hard to keep it reliable, but we cannot promise it will be free of errors or work in every setup.

To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect damages or lost data, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for your license. Keep backups of the recordings that matter to you.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Argentina. If you are a consumer, you keep the protections of the laws of the country where you live.

Changes

If these terms change, we will update this page and its date. The version in effect when you bought your license applies to that purchase.
